The enlarged kitchen was designed to open directly onto the existing deck. Corner windows focus view from the kitchen out onto an existing stand of birch trees as well as the backyard.

View from the new island/ eating area to the formal dining room. The new enlarged opening between the two rooms was designed to allow for large family gatherings where the tables would extend from the formal dining room to the new custom table in the kitchen.

View of new mud room, with slate floors and custom built-in cabinets for backpacks and sports equipment. BEAUCHER & LEA also incorporated a charging station for mobile phones and other electronics and a efficient area for recycling and trash into this space to better meet the clients' needs.
