A married couple relocating from Manhattan to Boston retained BEAUCHER & LEA architecture to totally rethink their duplex penthouse condominium. Located in Boston's prestigious Back Back neighborhood, the project included total replacement of the existing roof deck and failed roof, gut-renovating two existing bathrooms and the kitchen, adding a new half bathroom and new mechanical and electrical systems. The existing and very outdated 80s style interiors were entirely replaced with a rich palate of materials and Zen quality inspired by the client's Asian heritage.

Second floor hallway area with new stair railing and new doors. New built-in wine cooler and bar top on right is easily accessible from the master suite and the stairs from the roof deck.
